Meet Our OT's

Our occupational therapists at Fundamental Therapy Solutions address various factors that affect each child's daily living activities. We specialize in evaluating and treating infants, children, and adolescents who may benefit from skilled services to address social and emotional goals, motor function, and sensory processing.

Alex Bartholomew

COTA/L

Lead OT Director

Alex has been working as a COTA/L for 5 years, spending most of her time working with neuro and ICU patients in acute care. She has always had a heart for pediatrics and has transitioned to this setting as well. Alex loves providing children and their families with the tools necessary to live their most functional and accomplished lives. Ms. Alex spends her free time reading, spoiling her two dogs, exercising, and watching or playing sports.

Valerie Jones

COTA/L

Valerie Jones has been a practicing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant since graduating from Oklahoma City Community College in 2012. Valerie worked with adults and elderly clients in Skilled Nursing Facilities from 2012 - 2019, and Home Health from 2016 - present. In 2022 Valerie joined the FTS team, and works remotely in Norman, Oklahoma, working with children 2-5 at daycares and afterschool telehealth services. Valerie works on her families homestead during her weekends.

Courtney Stephen

MOTR/L

Courtney first joined Fundamental Therapy Solutions in 2017. A graduate from the University of Florida, she has worked in both outpatient pediatrics and orthopedics (hand therapy) since the start of her career. Courtney has been trained in Astronaut Training, Handwriting without Tears and is currently pursuing certification as a Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist. At this present time, Courtney serves clients virtually at our Oklahoma clinic!  She is passionate about empowering families and guiding clients toward achieving their highest potential. Courtney is a Florida-native- enjoying life in the State of Florida with her husband and their two sons.

Brooke Nelson

MOTR/L

Brooke Nelson graduated from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO with her Bachelor's in Science degree. Shortly after graduation, she married her college sweetheart Michael. They moved to Columbia, MO where Brooke received her Master's in Occupational Therapy Degree from the University of Missouri. Brooke and Michael now live in Tulsa, OK with their two children, Cole (4) and Kennedy (2). Brooke is passionate about working with children and their families using a holistic and evidence-based approach. She enjoys cooking, working out, and spending quality time with her friends and family in her spare time.

Darcy Kickey

MOTR/L

Darcy Kickey has been an Occupational Therapist for twelve years. She loves helping kids reach their goals and be successful in their lives. Mrs. Kickey is married and has two children. In her “free” time, Mrs. Kickey enjoys spending time with her husband, children, family and friends. Most of her weekends are spent at the soccer fields watching her kids play soccer. When she gets the chance, she loves horseback riding, fishing and spending time at the beach. She hopes to one day combine her love of horseback riding and occupational therapy to open a therapy riding center.

Carrie Bozone

COTA/L

Carrie is a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She has been working with children for more than 17 years, first as a paraprofessional in the Public School System. Her love for helping young ones reach their fullest potential in a meaningful, kind way, motivated her to pursuit an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy. She graduated and became licensed in 2014 and has worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic ever since.

Working with a variety of able children with diverse needs and diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, and DS continues to motivate her to build bridges and connections to inspire young ones to initiate, participate, and engage in all areas of their daily lives.

She was trained in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to Feeding in January of 2017 and has helped many and their families acquire vital self-feeding/oral motor skills and effective strategies.

When she is not treating, she loves her family, friends, animals, basketball (really any sport), and puzzles to name only a few.

Oleeta Noah

COTA/L

Oleeta Noah has been practicing in the field of Occupational Therapy since 1998. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science and received her Associate in Applied Science at North Central Texas College and became an Occupational Therapy Assistant. In 2018, Oleeta decided to share her experience and knowledge and began teaching students in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Tulsa Community College. Her knowledge and training include Autism, ADHA, Sensory Processing Disorder, and handwriting just to name a few. Her approach to working with children and adolescence is through purposeful activities while incorporating movement and sensory play. She serves her purpose with the gifts that God has given her through teaching and touching the lives of those who experience the world in a unique way. To care for and nurture her soul, Oleeta enjoys walking her dogs, bicycle rides along Riverside Drive, hikes on Turkey Mountain and other Tulsa area parks, yoga, an occasional round of golf, listening to music, watching movies, cooking, reading fiction, and crafts.

Ann Morgan Boyd

OTR/L

Ann has practiced OT for 27 years after graduating from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also attended Tulane Medical School with a focus in neurology and pediatrics. Ann completed her internships at North LA Rehab Hospital, River North psychiatric Treatment Hospital, and the public school system. She balanced her early working years at New Directions Rehab and PRN for SNF at Morehouse General Hospital on the weekends. Ann and her husband, Kris, were married in 1998 and now have 2 sons. While stationed in Colorado Springs, CO with the US ARMY, Ann continued her career working at Community Partnership for Child Development, and advocating on the Child Find team and on a Special Quest committee in D.C. to improve early intervention services for high risk children. Ann expanded her career and advanced in numerous trainingings and specialty skills at Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA for 12 years working inpatient, surgery, and outpatient rehab with a large variety of disabilities and birth defects, syndromes, cerebral palsy, brachial plexus injury, brain injury, Sensory Integrative Dysfunction, autism, Down Syndrome, SCI, feeding delays JRA, spina bifida, amputation and prosthetic training, burns, hand surgery and custom static and dynamic splint fabrication, wound care, adapted equipment, custom wheelchair design and seating systems, and a myriad of post operative and post trauma rehab. Ann has worked on various research projects including a multi year study as co investigator for the benefits of botox, medications, and tendon transfers to improve motor control for children with spastic quadriplegia and hemiplegia. She worked to develop and implement the Constraint Induced Movement Therapy protocol at Shriners. She also served during Jambalaya Jubilee, a summer camp for children with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis produced by Dr. Pressly. She found her passion for teaching and has given dozens of guest lectures for LSU OT and PT classes, BPCC OTA classes, and conference training in amputee care and prosthetics, splinting, and JRA. She has trained and supervised many level II clinical students from LSU, ULM, Texas Woman’s University, and numerous others. Ann is a strong advocate for adoption and support for young mothers and foster children. In 2012, Ann and her family moved to Tulsa where she works in outpatient pediatrics while also being immersed in the lives of her boys and 22 nieces and nephews and the family farm. She led Cub Scouts for 5 years and also loves to travel, snow ski, go camping, and plan everything from coffee dates to holiday parties.

Suzanne Marolf

Sue Marolf graduated from Washington University with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1985. After working with adults in various settings and becoming a certified hand therapist, Sue made the switch to working with children in a private practice setting in 1999. She has additional training and certifications in programs including Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome, Handwriting Without Tears, Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy. Sue feels the most rewarding part of working with children is seeing their self-confidence and joy grow as their skills develop. When not working Sue enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her four grandchildren, and anything outside including running, biking, paddleboarding, playing pickleball and gardening.

Mykena Miller

MOTR/L

Mykena earned her B.S. from the University of Arkansas in 2019. Has 4 years' experience in an ABA pediatric outpatient setting. She received her M.S. in Occupational Therapy in August 2023 from Northeastern State University. Mykena is experienced with addressing behaviors, potty training, and emotional regulation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with her fiancé and spending time with family.

Amy Biggs

Amy graduated from NSU in 2020 and has loved working in both the pediatric and geriatric settings. She enjoys helping kiddos have fun learning new skills through play and conquering new challenges! Amy loves spending time with her family, doing crosswords with her husband, and visiting local coffee shops.

Hope Urban

Hope Urban is a board-certified and state-licensed occupational therapy assistant (OTA), with an emphasis in pediatrics and developmental disabilities. Her passion is encouraging and teaching clients independence in their daily lives and improving functional skills through play. Hope enjoys reading, writing, flower collecting, dancing, and playing the piano or guitar in her spare time.
